About Gabriel's Writing

Gabriel studied English and creative writing at UC Berkeley, has published short fiction in various literary journals, and was recently awarded the Speculative Literature Foundation's Diverse Writers Grant for his novel-in-progress (YA magical realism about a Mexican-American teen coping with the aftermath of a fatal accident). 

As a senior product designer, Gabriel also writes and develops award-winning children's products, and has produced children's content for clients including Facebook, Princess Cruises, and Marriott Hotels and Resorts.

On any given day, you can find Gabriel at a movie theater, toy store, library, or jelly bean confectionary.
